Whether the text confirmation went out, failed, or was never attempted because no mobile number was captured — shown per appointment rather than collapsed into the single word "Booked". An outcome Balaay could not confirm says so instead of showing a tick.

Balaay stopped describing itself as a dental-only product

Balaay has served several industries for a while, but one setting deep in the site still said it was for dental practices — and because everything else was generated from that setting, the description spread everywhere a machine or a search engine would look. Our own machine-readable summary said "dental" sixty-two times. It is corrected on every surface, and a check now fails the build if any page disagrees with the rest about what Balaay is. Dental is still the deepest configuration and the only one with a live deployment; it is no longer the definition.

Seventeen pages explaining the category, and what Balaay does inside it

What an AI receptionist actually does, how the category is priced, how it compares with an answering service, a human receptionist and voicemail — plus the mechanisms: action receipts, the Business Twin, false completion, pre-flight testing. Every page has to name a real file in the codebase behind its central claim, or the build rejects it.

The home page plays a real call instead of describing one

It used to explain what would happen if you pasted your website. It now plays an actual conversation from whichever industry you pick, and two of the four end with the receptionist declining to answer something it does not know — which is the part worth seeing. And the page about the call record now shows a record rather than describing one.

Off now actually stops the receptionist answering

The dashboard said "Balaay is off. Your calls stay with you." Nothing in the inbound call handler read that setting, so a paused business had every call answered by a receptionist the owner believed was disabled. It is now checked when the call arrives, not only in the setting. If your provider is still diverting calls, the caller hears a short neutral message rather than a receptionist speaking in your name.

The number you tested on comes with you when you create an account

Building a receptionist gave you a number to ring. Creating an account carried over everything Balaay had learned about your business — but not the number, which stayed on the throwaway record. One business created an account twice in eight minutes because neither one got a line.

Follow-up notes stopped calling everyone a patient

A heating and air company was told "Booked, but no confirmation reached the patient". The wording now comes from the industry the business is actually in.

One number can only ever belong to one business

Releasing a number cleared the pool record but not the previous holder’s, so each time a number was recycled it gained another claimant. A visitor rang the number they had just been given and reached a different company. Ownership is now enforced in the primitive rather than by convention, an unrecognised number is refused rather than guessed at, and every existing claim was repaired.

You can watch it read your website instead of watching a spinner

Building a receptionist takes around twenty-five seconds. That used to be an unchanged marketing page. It now shows what Balaay is reading as it reads it — your name appears in under two seconds — and on a phone the number you can ring arrives at the top of the screen rather than two and a half screens down.
