Every fact, with the page it came from
Balaay builds a structured model of your business from your own website, where every fact carries the page it came from and a confidence state. What that changes, and what happens when your website contradicts it later.
Most AI receptionists are configured by pasting text into a box. It works, and it has one structural problem: once pasted, nobody can tell where any particular fact came from, whether it is still true, or whether the model is repeating something you deleted from your site last spring.
Balaay is an AI receptionist for businesses that run on calls. Balaay is an AI receptionist for businesses that run on calls. It learns a business from that business’s own website, answers its phone, holds the conversation, takes the next step where it can, and records what it actually did.
Four states, not one blob
Each fact Balaay holds about you is in one of four states, and the state decides what the receptionist is allowed to do with it.
- Owner confirmed — you said so. It outranks the website and a later crawl cannot silently overwrite it.
- Known — read from your site with confidence, with the page recorded.
- Inferred — read from your wording rather than stated outright. Balaay hedges.
- Conflicting or unknown — Balaay withholds. It will not tell a caller something in this state, and it says it does not know instead.
Two pages disagreeing is not the same as your site changing
If two pages of your site say different things in one crawl, that is a conflict and Balaay stops using the fact until you settle it. If the same page says something different next month, that is an update. Collapsing the two would either freeze your receptionist or let a stale page win, and the distinction is enforced rather than inferred.
What happens when your website changes
Balaay re-reads and classifies each fact as added, updated, conflicting, vanished or unchanged. A fact that disappears from your site is never deleted automatically — a page being down for an afternoon is not you discontinuing a service.
What the owner sees, and what one tap does
Every fact is listed with the page it came from, as a link you can open. Confirming one takes a single tap and does two things: it moves the fact to owner-confirmed, and it makes it permanent against future crawls — so a redesign that drops your opening hours from the footer cannot silently take them away from your receptionist. The facts Balaay could not find are listed too, which is usually the more useful list: it is a short, specific account of what your own website does not say about you.
What this page will not claim
The Business Twin is built from your public website. It does not read your practice management system, your calendar or your internal documents.
